Do I need to see a doctor before I start online physiotherapy?

No, you don’t need to see a doctor before you begin treatment. Physiotherapists are trained to assess and diagnose various health conditions. Our therapists are best trained to detect signs and symptoms that may require a referral to a doctor

Do I need to provide any medical records before my appointment?

It may be useful for your therapist to have access to your medical records, however this is not essential.

 What should I wear during my ePhysios appointment? 

Most of our customers prefer to wear comfortable loose fitting clothing or track pants/yoga pants and active gym wear.

Will I need to use exercise equipment during my ePhysios session?

Most of the initial rehab exercises can be performed without specialist exercise equipment.

What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?

If you plan to reschedule or cancel the appointment, kindly let us know 24 hrs before the actual appointment. If you are unable to give at least 12 hours notice of your intention to cancel your appointment, we may have to charge you the full cost of the cancelled appointment. If you give between 12 and 24 hours notice of your intention to cancel an appointment, we may have to charge you 50% of the cost of the cancelled appointment. If you give over 24 hours notice of your intention to cancel an appointment we will refund all monies you have paid towards the cost of the cancelled appointment.

What medical conditions do you treat?

The ePhysios team is experienced in providing virtual treatment that effectively combats a long list of orthopaedic & musculoskeletal conditions, such as aches & pains in joints; and sprains & strains in muscles and ligaments. How do I know if my physiotherapist is qualified?

ePhysios do not employ physiotherapists until we have verified their qualifications, credentials & registration with the appropriate healthcare professionals council that is applicable to the territory in which they practise.

How long does a treatment session last?

An initial assessment normally runs for 45 minutes, with follow up sessions lasting 30 minutes.

How many treatments will I need?

There is no predetermined number of treatments for a specific condition.Following your initial assessment, your physiotherapist will discuss and agree a treatment plan that makes you feel comfortable, confirming the approximate number of sessions required to realistically achieve success and recovery.

ePhysios is providing expert treatment to customers in several countries including USA, UK, Netherlands, India & New Zealand. We are happy to provide our quality services to anybody who has access to video-call technology such as WhatsApp, Skype, etc.
